Easy bread rolls

Makes 4 rolls



Ingredients


  • 125g strong bread flour

  • ½ tsp easy bake yeast  

  • pinch salt 

  • 1 tbsp oil 

  • 40ml lukewarm water

  • 40ml room temp milk 


Method


  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4

  2. Add the flour and a pinch of salt to a bowl. 

  3. Add the milk and water into a jug add the yeast and mix.

  4. Add the liquid mixture to the flour and stir. 

  5. When the mixture forms into a ball put onto a hard oiled surface.

  6. Knead the mixture well for around 5-10 minutes using the oil to keep the dough from sticking to the worktop and your fingers.

  7. Shape into 4 small round rolls then place on a lined baking tray.

  8. Leave to prove at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  9. Place in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned.
