Makes 4 rolls
Ingredients
125g strong bread flour
½ tsp easy bake yeast
pinch salt
1 tbsp oil
40ml lukewarm water
40ml room temp milk
Method
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4
Add the flour and a pinch of salt to a bowl.
Add the milk and water into a jug add the yeast and mix.
Add the liquid mixture to the flour and stir.
When the mixture forms into a ball put onto a hard oiled surface.
Knead the mixture well for around 5-10 minutes using the oil to keep the dough from sticking to the worktop and your fingers.
Shape into 4 small round rolls then place on a lined baking tray.
Leave to prove at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
Place in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned.
