Cheese and Tomato pastry puffs

Makes 3-4 puffs



Ingredients

  • 1 Quarter of a ready roll puff pastry 

  • 3-4 tsp tomato puree 

  • Pinch of mixed Italian herbs  

  • 30g grated cheddar or red leister cheese



Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. 

  2. Spread tomato puree all over the puff pastry.

  3. Add the cheese, and a sprinkle of mixed herbs. 

  4. Carefully roll up the pastry on the long edge. 

  5. Place your rolls onto a baking tray.

  6. Place in the oven and bake for 5-10 minutes until the cheese browns
